THE ECONOMIC CHALLENGES OF CORONAVIRUS AND THE TRENDS TO OVERCOME IT IN GEORGIA

Summary

The pandemic caused by Coronavirus has caused unprecedented shifts in the world economy. Especially the serious economic damage caused to such countries, where the economy was in a great place for tourism. Georgia is one of such countries. In today's difficult conditions, the development of local production is a vital task for Georgia. The country should try to produce products and services, which have the resources or the ratio of a certain advantage.

The paper presents the economic challenges of Coronavirus and the tendencies to overcome it in Georgia. Given and analyzed are the sectors, the development of which, together with traditional sectors, will help to overcome poverty and economic growth in Georgia.
